The University of South Carolina Beaufort is a four-year public University nestled in the Lowcountry, located less than 15 miles from the beautiful beaches of the resort island of Hilton Head and 20 miles from historic Savannah & historic Beaufort. With a yearly average high of 75.6 degrees, the weather is favorable for outdoor recreation, outdoor training and sporting events. The USCB Sand Sharks are a member of the NAIA and compete in the Sun Conference. As Head Women’s Golf Coach will be responsible for coaching and administration of a NAIA intercollegiate golf program. This includes, but not limited to: handling all responsibilities of the team, recruiting, team travel, campus, community and alumni outreach and other duties assigned by the Athletic Director. Responsible for recruiting and training, teaching, and instructing all aspects of a college level golf program. Available on weekends and evenings in order to recruit student – athletes. Knowledge and understanding of all eligibility and recruiting rules in the NAIA, Sun Conference and admission standards of USCB. Help maintain accountability for Women’s Golf scholarship limitations. Manages all recruiting efforts for the program and determines all scholarship offers. Coordinates all aspects of team travel including but not limited to: transportation, hotel reservations, meal money coordination, completion of travel authorizations and reimbursement and reconciliation of all team trips. Oversees all aspects of academic enhancement and stay current on academic progress of Women’s Golf athletes. Assist with student housing and admission issues and coordination of efforts with on-campus student services.

Bachelor’s Degree and/or PGA Class “A” Membership required. Three years minimum experience coaching or playing at a collegiate level golf program.
Knowledge of rules and regulations. Strong communication skills.
