The National High School Golf Association in collaboration with the New England Section of the PGA of America is proud to present Recruited: The Ins and Outs of College Golf Recruiting. This event brought together top players, coaches and recruiting experts to tell their stories and help parents and high school students navigate the college golf recruiting process. 4:00-4:30 – A Professional Opinion – LPGA player Jennifer Kuphco and her PGA Coach Ed Oldham

4:30-5:00 – Tips from a Major Champion – Former PGA Champion Keegan Bradley and his father PGA Professional Mark Bradley talk about what recruiting was like for Keegan growing up in the Northeast

5:00-5:30 – Advice from Award Winning Coaches – Retired NCAA D1 coaches Buddy Alexander and Herb Page and NJCAA coach Christa Teno will talk about recruiting over the last 30 years, putting together championship golf teams, and talking about their experiences coaching and advice for juniors/parents

5:30-6:00 – Recruiting has changed – Top college golf consultants Katie Brophy Miles, Brendan Ryan and PGA Professional Roger Knick talk about the recent changes to recruiting given the COVID crisis and what parents need to know

6:00-6:30 – College Life – Aidan Thomas (New Mexico), Jessica Meyers (Notre Dame), Dillon Brown (UMD) and Tanner Kutek (Robert Morris) talk about their experiences with recruiting and playing college golf

6:30-7:00 – Top recruits start with a great coach – Class of 2020 top recruits Rebecca Schiffman (Stanford) and Aaron Du (Berkeley) discuss their junior golf journeys and recruiting process with their award winning PGA coaches Trillium Rose and Mike Bender.

Golf Emergency Relief Fund

About

The Golf Emergency Relief Fund provides short-term financial assistance to certain workers in the golf industry that are the backbone of our sport and facing significant financial hardship including those suffering as a result of COVID-19. This relief effort was initiated through a lead, multi-million dollar pledge by the PGA of America. The effort is also being supported in a variety of manners by a number of industry organizations including the GCSAA, PGA TOUR, LPGA, USGA, NGCOA, and AGM.
